Doscher tabbed as NEC's top rookie for second time

From The Staten Island Advance Sports Desk: Wagner College freshman quarterback Nick Doscher was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week for his efforts in the Seahawks' 27-24 victory at Monmouth on Saturday. Doscher, a Moore Catholic product, accounted for 315 yards of total offense and three touchdowns in the game. The freshman signal caller went 14-of-27 passing for 260 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 14 times for 55 yards and a score. This is the second time this season that Doscher has been selected as the NEC's top rookie performer.
