The Religious Education Department offers the school community various religious activities.
The Eucharist, the Center of the Catholic Community is celebrated throughout the school year.
All of our young women and men must fulfill the academic requirement in the practical application of the
Catholic faith, acknowledging that Christianity is a way of life. Moore students can participate in religious
and social programs such as:
Teaching the Christian Message
Commuity Service
Juniors are required to complete 20
hours of community service as a component of the Religion 11 Course.
Students are also encouraged to participate in the religious and social programs in their respective parishes
and to lead and support other apostolic activities on Staten Island, as well as the school-wide Retreat Program.
Seniors participate in the Vocation Awareness Program that is sponsored by the Archdiocese of New York.
